Our Mission
Working through established friendships in foreign lands, ABIDE provides strategic resources for efforts that simultaneously accomplish two things: community development and making disciples of Jesus Christ. We are passionate about coming alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ as they minister in their communities overseas.
Partnerships
ABIDE partners with churches or organizations that are interested in supplying resources or providing support for projects that are underway. Please contact ABIDE if your church or organization would like to join the efforts. We would be happy to connect and provide any information you may need.
Board
The board evaluates opportunities to come alongside self-sustaining projects identified and executed by our partner churches around the world. These projects are intended to develop communities while making disciples of Christ.
Who?
ABIDE is about God’s gift of global friendship. As churches around the world build relationships, we develop a heart for one another built upon encouraging our mutual pursuit to become better disciples of Jesus and to make disciples of Jesus.
Every ABIDE project or initiative is connected to one of these relationships and is prompted by the desire to come alongside a friend.
Why?
“Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” This question could be asked of Christians of any era. Scripture compels us to view our position not for gain but as an opportunity to showcase the heart of Christ.
ABIDE does not seek out places to do good somewhere in the world. God has placed opportunities before us to help friends and we seek to respond by partnering with them.
What?
Our global church friendships are not limited in vision, but by resources. ABIDE provides a platform for raising awareness as well as funding — coming alongside friends as they invest in their own neighborhoods.
The heart of ABIDE is to pursue long-term, self sustaining efforts that help our friends reach their communities for purposes that are both earthly and eternal.
